We will have five organizations again at our Thursday BINGO nights this month. Come early to check them out. They are listed on the calendar on the back page.

Would you be interested in helping us bring in more BINGO players and advertise your association / business at the same time? We are looking for crafters / vendors / charities that would set up a table at our Thursday Night BINGO games. Contact Sally at 715 308-1830 or
freeshipping@charter.net for information.

Hello all, last month was very busy with going to the International Convention. I would like to say thank you to everyone that stepped up to cover for me while I was gone. It was a wonderful experience to attend and you meet new people from all over the country.  Also, the kids from Mooseheart came down on July 28th for the annual Dell Days event.

The calendar is as follows, meetings are on the 6th and 20th, Tuesday we have Line Dancing and Euchre and Wednesday is the afternoon dance.  Thursday is BINGO and the men’s progressive pot is getting up there. The State Golf Tournament is coming up on the 11th. Let’s wish the golfers from the lodge good luck.  On the 18th we will be hosting an Association Board meeting all day.  Let me know if you can help. On the 25th we are sponsoring the golf carts at Downsville Day.  There are all kinds of things going on again, so get your calendar out and mark these down.

The ball field was busy again this year. We had St. Joe’s Church, Menomonie Youth Softball and the Menomonie youth baseball teams using it.  Look for more of this in the future.  What a nice sight to see, the kids enjoying the field.

With the weather staying hot and the humidity high, remember that the lodge is air-conditioned. If you need some cool air, come on down.

Thank you for all that you do

Jon Hill
