Bingo

We will have five organizations again at our Thursday BINGO nights this month. Come early to check them out. They are listed on the calendar on the back page.

Would you be interested in helping us bring in more BINGO players and advertise your association / business at the same time? We are looking for crafters / vendors / charities that would set up a table at our Thursday Night BINGO games. Contact Sally at 715 308-1830 or
freeshipping@charter.net for information.

Now that summer is here and the weather is getting warmer, why not come down to some of the events going on at the Lodge and enjoy the air conditioning? The meetings are on the 4th and 18th, Tuesday night Euchre and Line Dancing, Wednesday there is a dance from 1 pm to 4 pm and Thursday night is Bingo. June 2nd is Mooseheart graduation.

On the 10th at Wakanda Park, Governor Steve Bates will be throwing out the first pitch at the Menomonie Eagles game that we are sponsoring. If you like watching baseball or softball, St. Joseph’s Church, Menomonie Youth Baseball, and the Menomonie Youth softball teams are using our field this year.

With the new Moose year under way, our annual quota for new members is 14 which is just 1 or 2 a month. Please talk to people that you think might be interested in becoming a Moose member. Bring them down as a guest and show them what we are. If you need help explaining the Moose to them, contact me and I will try to meet you here. Just ask Steve Bates about signing a new member. He has gotten the first one of the year for us.

“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”
? C. JoyBell C.

So, with this quote in mind, throw yourself out there and you might just be surprised that the next person you ask, might just say yes to joining us. You never know who the next sponsor in our Lodge will be.

Thank you for all that you do.
